Quick Deal: Higher 75k offer for City National Bank Crystal Infinite Visa Available

It seems like a week of time sensitive posts here on the blog.  First came news that Plastiq’s summer promo was ending a little later than expected.  Next, Robert wrote an outstanding piece about Hawiian Airlines‘ new BOS-HNL route. That’s not a time sensitive piece per se, but there is a sale on these fares from BOS that ends today.

Today we complete the hat trick with a post about the King of the Tier 3 credit cards, the City National Bank Crystal Visa Infinite.  (Like all royalty the card has far too many names) We wrote extensively about this card in our Tier 3 credit cards post last week with special guest MilesPerDay’s Vinh.

In a rather tongue-in-cheek moment I wrote that, “One thing I know I can do to help everyone out is apply for it as I’m 100% certain the day after I do apply the 100k offer will return.  Maybe because only 1/2 of the writers of this blog applied for the card, but we here at the blog couldn’t quite get it to bump up to 100k after that post. The good news is that it seems that Robert did get it up to 75k with his approval:

A little More About the Card

Doctor of reddit makes a house call on this increased 75k bonus and the breakdown of the card.  DoC’s got a lot about the card over on this blog post, and there’s more on reddit as well.  Be sure to pay close attention to the discussion on these posts as it unfolds.

I think we’ve covered it enough in the above Tier 3 post to not rehash recent info here, but suffice it to say the card is a long term keeper, and could even make sense as a daily spend card for many of you.

How to Apply?

I’m unsure how many people who don’t have this card and don’t have access to it would even be interested in applying.  If you are interested leave a note here. If you’d rather some anonymity you can DM Me on twitter or write me an email as well. I’m going to work on contacting some CNB bankers and see if I can get any of them to accept applications from readers.

Update (9/21): Now have a confirmed good application method for anyone interested.

Update (9/24): Confirmed approvals starting to roll in from readers!

Update (6/27/19): CNB contacts have told me they can no longer help people apply over email.
