Great Discussion, rational decisions can be blinded by miles, I currently have two citi merchant offers at cvs and I need to purchase gift cards, one is 10% CB on the double cash card and one is 5% CB on the AA mile up card. so 12% vs 6%, AA Loyalty points makes me think just for a second about the AA miles until I realize I am leaving 6% on the table.
